WhatsApp is the most popular way to communicate with work, classmate, family, friends, and more. It has become an integral part of our lives. If you are an old WhatsApp user, these problems might happen to you.
1. The WhatsApp messages take up too much memory on your phone or you want to transfer them from phone to computer or from old phone to a new phone.
2. You want to backup your WhatsApp Messages to prevent losing any data.
3. You have deleted some very important WhatsApp messages or conversations accidentally, and you want to recover them.
Don't worry, here is a step by step guide will show you how to transfer, backup and recover WhatsApp messages. Easy to understand, even you are computer savvy can handle it.
The tool you need is this Dr.fone, it has two versions for Android and iPhone. You can choose the right one according to your device.
a). Transfer Whatsapp Messages from iPhone to computer
Step 1. Connect your iPhone to computer with the USB cable. Download and install Dr.fone for iOS on your computer, and then launch it. You will see this interface.

a) Backup iPhone WhatsApp messages with iCloud
Step 1. Launch WhatsApp on your iPhone, and then go to Settings and tap the option Chat.
Step 2. On the next screen, tap the Chat Backup, and then tap on Back UP Now, that's all. This process will back up the WhatsApp messages to your iCloud account. It might take a long time to finish the backup according to your files size and internet connection speed.
b) Backup Android WhatsApp messages with Google Drive
Step 1. Launch WhatsApp on your android device and go to Options > Settings.
Step 2. Tap " Chats and calls", and then tap Chat backup.
Step 3. Click on Google Drive Settings to setup your account if not done already and then tap Back Up.
a). Recover iPhone WhatsApp files
Step 1. Plug in your iPhone to computer, and then run Dr.fone for iOS. The software will recognize your iPhone automatically.
